A “Tree Bank Update,” a one-sheet publication written by Tommy Ventre, formerly the Tree Bank’s Project Manager, came out in August 2007 and January 2008. We have since stopped publishing the Update and are instead carrying Tree Bank news in our regular newsletter, the Acorn, beginning with the December 2008 issue. Some additional coverage is available in the Tree Bank News, which contains excerpts on the Tree Bank from our main News page. To learn more about the support that Tree Bank farmers receive, look at the Bank’s Table of Benefits and the form that we use to enroll farmers in our forest credit program—our Solicitud de Préstamo. We have also compiled a Tree Bank Bird List, which includes all threatened, endangered, endemic, and US-migrant bird species that may occur in our project area, and a brief Tree Bank Reading List.
